Hard Working Hand Salve - Shea Butter Salve - All Natural Lotion - Unscented

We created this salve out of desperation! Our hands are so dry that they crack, flake, and look much older than they actually are. We really wanted something that would moisturize, soften and soothe our skin. We tried a few different recipes before finally finding one we were happy with, but this is it! Each salve is unscented, but not to worry - if you'd like it scented just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil when using.

This salve combines organic shea butter and organic sunflower oil to make a thick, creamy salve that soaks in quickly enough that you aren't a grease ball, but powerful enough to really do the job. These oils are known for their healing benefits. Use this salve anywhere that is especially dry, even feet, elbows, etc. This salve is also great for pregnant bellies!

You will receive 4 oz of salve in a glass jar

Ingredients: Organic Shea butter, organic sunflower oil.

NOTE: The shea butter that we use in our recipe is virgin, organic unrefined shea butter that is sourced from West Africa. Some batches naturally have a "smoky" aroma. In general, that means it is very fresh. In West Africa, shea butter is often made over an open fire. In addition, unrefined shea butter itself has a much stronger nutty smell that some also describe as "smoky".
